Partner and Senior Associate Tambet Toomela heads the fields of data protection, labour law, consulting, intellectual property and IT law practices at the law firm.

Tambet has over 20 years of experience in counselling and representing clients. Tambet has extensive experience in personal data protection, labour law, and technology law, having led these areas at the firm for over 10 years. Tambet has lectured at GDPR and labour law seminars, including training lawyers at the Labour Inspectorate. He has published extensively on these topics in both academic journals and the mainstream media, and has contributed to legislative drafting. 

Tambet has considerable experience in drafting tailored contracts, including advising on major industrial and development projects, providing guidance to clients in consumer protection and advertising, and managing applications for residence and work permits.

Tambet also advises clients on various intellectual property matters, including acquisition, registration, and protection, and provides support on matters related to IT solutions, products, and services. He is also a member of the Estonian working group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and of the IP/IT law commission at the Estonian Bar Association.
